Gluten Free Deep Dish Pizza

This Gluten Free Depp Dish Pizza recipe is the source of a great family debate.  We have a few family members that love our classic gluten free pizza recipe with a crispier, thinner crust.  Then, there is the group that prefer this deep dish pizza recipe.  Well, the good news is you can have both!  This pizza crust rises in the baking dish making it easy to make and clean up!  Top it with all of your favorites and enjoy that family movie night 🎬!

Bonus: This recipe is vegan and dairy free as it is- top it with your favorite dairy free cheese and enjoy!

SERVINGS 1 9 inch round pizza
COOK TIME 20-25 mins
PASSIVE TIME 1-3 hours rise time


2 1/2 cups (375 grams) Muffin and More Mix

1 1/2 tsp yeast

1 1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp granulated garlic

1 tsp Italian herbs

1 1/4 cups very warm water

1/4 cup olive oil

Pizza sauce

Mozzarella Cheese

Pepperoni and any of of your favorite pizza toppings!


In a large bowl or stand mixer add:

Muffin and More mix, yeast, salt, sugar, garlic, and herbs.

Mix until fully combined.

With the stand mixer running on low speed add the water and olive oil (if you are are not using a stand mixer  add the water little by little to mix well) .

Your mixture should be in- between a dough and a batter at this point.

Line a round baking dish (a pie pan works too!) with parchment and pour the batter in.

Spread the batter around, up the sides as well (this will be your crust).

Allow to rise for 1-3 hours in a warm spot with a damp cloth on top.

When you are ready to bake pre heat your oven to 400F .  While the oven is preheating add pizza sauce, cheese, and your favorite toppings.

Bake for 20-25mins. until the cheese is bubbling and the crust is set.
