The goal is hearing a gentle sizzle once your batter hits the crepe pan. We recommend starting on the hotter side with the heat, and then backing off – fine tuning the perfect temperature!
NO SIZZLE? Turn up the heat
LOUD SIZZLE? Turn down your heat
CREPE BATTER STICKING TO THE PAN BEFORE YOU CAN SWIRL? Turn down the heat
CREPE BATTER NOT GRABBING ONTO THE PAN WHILE YOU ARE SWIRLING? Turn up the heat
NONSTICK PAN SIZE: 8-inch BATTER AMOUNT: 1/4 cup
NONSTICK PAN SIZE: 12-inch BATTER AMOUNT: 1/3 cup
Make sure to whisk your crepe batter between crepe making.
Make sure to oil your pan well between crepe making.
