Gluten-free Apple Loaf Recipe
This is super delicious….the house smelled amazing. Our babysitter said she could smell it from the driveway.
Truth: We could do without pumpkin bread. It just doesn’t do it for us. This does.
Moist 🍎loaf bursting with fall flavors. There’s a gooeyness here that is pretty heavenly but we think it still counts as breakfast food.
- 1 1/4 cup of Josie’s Best GF Muffin and More Mix
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tart apple
- 2 TBS brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup very soft butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 lemon (juiced)
Preheat oven to 350
Mix dry ingredients together and set aside.
Chop and peel tart apple, toss with brown sugar, cinnamon and set aside.
In another bowl, mix all wet ingredients together.
Add the dry mix to the wet and mix until combined.
Pour into a well greased or parchment lined loaf pan.
Top with the apples and gently pat into the batter.
Cook for 35-40 mins until cooked through and apples are starting to brown on top.
Allow to cool, slice, sit back & enjoy!
