Gluten Free Crepes with Plum Sauce and balsamic reduction a super tasty way to crepe… and presents beautifully as well! This sounds complicated but it’s simple using our Gluten Free Crepe mix & a balsamic glaze that’s ready to go like this one from Nonna Pia’s .  Make your plum sauce and let it simmer while you cook crepes and then all you are doing is assembling.  This is a super impressive gluten free brunch that anyone can make!  Enjoy 🫶 Josie

Ingredients

Crepes
1 Josie’s Best single-use Crepe Packet
1 large egg(or proportionate egg alternative)
½ cup + 2 tsp water
½ cup milk of choice
½ tsp vanilla
Pinch of nutmeg(optional)

Plum Sauce
2 very ripe plums chopped
1 juice of a lemon
1 TBS white sugar

Balsamic Reduction

Whipped Cream Cheese
Basil

Instructions

Mix all crepe ingredients well, batter should be smooth and very thin.

Heat griddle or skillet to desired temperature(med/low preferred).

Put approximately ¼ cup of batter(for medium to large nonstick skillet) into the pan.

Gently swirl batter into a round shape-batter should be paper thin.

Cook until lightly brown on each side and easy to roll.

Batter will settle slightly between batches, whisk if needed.

For the plum sauce:
Mix all sauce ingredients on low over the stove. Sauté  for 10 minutes.

Assemble:
Crepe
Plum Sauce
Drizzle of balsamic vinegar reduction
Whipped Cream Cheese
Basil
