Gluten Free Candy Apple Dessert Crepes
Gluten Free Candy Apple Dessert Crepes are filled with our dairy free candy apple frosting & topped with cinnamon, chopped apples and maple syrup. We hope you enjoy this delicious, sweet treat! Ingredients
1 Josie’s Best Single-Use Crepe Packet (which is 1 cup of dry crepe mix, should you be using the 18oz size)
1 large egg(or proportionate egg alternative)
½ cup + 1 TBS water
½ cup milk of choice
½ tsp vanilla
Pinch of nutmeg(optional)
Filling:
1 Jar DF Candy Apple Frosting
Toppings:
Cinnamon
Chopped apples
Maple syrup
Instructions
Mix: Egg, water, milk & 1/2 tsp vanilla(optional) well. Add the entire single-use crepe packet or 1 cup of crepe mix and mix well until fully incorporated.
Heat: Lightly greased 6″-8″ nonstick skillet over medium heat.
Add: 1/4 cup batter to your skillet and gently swirl into a round shape.
Cook: Flipping once until lightly brown, about 3 minutes total.
Note: Batter will settle slightly between batches, whisk if needed.
Spread DF Candy Apple Frosting in the crepe and roll! Top your crepes with cinnamon, chopped apples and maple syrup! Enjoy!
