Make the best tasting Rhubarb Compote today! This is a little tangy, versatile, and simple, we make it all summer long!
- 1/4-1/3 cup lemon or orange juice
- 4-5 stalks rhubarb roughly chopped
- 1/4-1/2 cup sugar (if you use fresh lemon juice you’ll want the 1/2 cup)
Add all ingredients to small pot on the stove.
Bring to a simmer on med/low heat.
Simmer for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally until the rhubarb is broken down.
Once the compote is a thick but fairly smooth sauce, you’re set!
