Gluten Free Basic Muffin Recipe
Delicious GF Basic Muffin Recipe made with our Muffin & More Mix.
1/2 cup room temp butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
+ any fresh or frozen berries, chocolate chips, etc. We give you the basic.. you add your goods!
Pre Heat oven to 350
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs, milk and mix well.
Gently fold and mix Muffin & More, salt, baking soda and baking powder into wet mixture.
Now you have a delicious plain muffin batter… at this point you can make it your own!
A few ideas:
-Zest of 1/2 a lemon and 1-2 cups of fresh or frozen berries.
-1 crisp apple diced + 1 tsp cinnamon
-1 cup chocolate chips
-1 more tsp vanilla and 1 cup chopped strawberries
Fill muffin tins 3/4 of the way full (if you want big muffin tops fill them all the way) and cook for 20-30 mins. Poke with a toothpick to confirm it cooked through. Allow to cool and enjoy!
The variation on the cook time here depends on the size of your muffins.
- Mini muffins 12-15 mins
- Standard muffins 20 mins
- Extra large 30 mins.
