Refreshing ????Lemon Simple Syrup Recipe! (She’s a keeper, we promise!)
Servings 16 ounces

Passive Time Overnight
- 2 cups water
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 lemon
- 1 mason jar
Combine sugar, water and warm on the stove until the sugar melts.
Remove from heat.
Cut the rind off of the lemon and slice into long strips.
Slice the lemon into wheels.
Put all the lemon rind and slices into the mason jar and gently muddle it to release the juices.
Pour the sugar water on top of the muddle lemon and close.
Allow the flavor to combine at least overnight.
Ideas for enjoyment:
•Pour over sparkling water for an quick/easy lemonade.
•Use the rind and lemon for cooking or baking.
•Blueberry lemonade pancakes!
