These are buttery and chewy goodies. They get big and puffy in the oven then fall and caramelize the last 10 mins of cooking.
Huge hit! Can definitely do them with or without the Oreos! Enjoy!
6 TBSP Earth Balance butter
3/4 cup Muffin and More Mix
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
6-8 crushed GF Oreos
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 325
Heat butter in a saucepan and warm until melted and starting to brown. Set aside and let cool.
In another bowl, mix Muffin & More, baking powder, salt, and crushed Oreos.
To the slightly cooled butter add sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well.
Pour the butter mixture into the flour mixture and mix until incorporated.
Pour batter into a parchment lined 9×9 baking dish.
Bake for 25 – 30 mins. Check them at about 20 mins and the batter should look puffy and have risen – watch them for the last 10 mins as they will fall and caramelize and you don’t want the sugars on the edges to burn! Allow to cool before enjoying!
